𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗮𝗽𝘀, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲: 𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗡 𝗣𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰al 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 With the strong urge of commitment to the community, the Islamic Medical Association of the Philippines, Inc - IMAN initiated a medical mission framed in the activity’s core title "𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙣" on August 07, 2022 at Academy Gym, Brgy. Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao. The said activity offered a free general check-up and circumcision. The initiative's goal is to provide high-quality medical care to society's unsheltered or underprivileged population, based on the foundational concept of access to quality medical care. The 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 (𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬, 𝗜𝗻𝗰.) was also present throughout the activity as they offered to aid the entire team for the activity's smooth and successful completion. Some of the GABAY, Inc. members were able to assist with the circumcision and others were able to help with distributing the lunch and medications. After the half-day medical mission, Dr. Amirel Usman accompanied the team for a tour at Iranun District Hospital located at Parang, Maguindanao. The said hospital was formally opened on March 2, 2022 after almost two decades of rest from public service. The opening was funded by the BARMM Government “𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘹 (6) 𝘐𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘯 𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨, 𝘉𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘰𝘯, 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘳𝘢, 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘨, 𝘚𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘒𝘶𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵. 𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘣𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘭 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘸 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 . 𝘐𝘯 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘢 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩, 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭, 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦.” Dr. Amirel Usman said.
