Updated IMAN Phil App at Google Play

Assalamualaikum! With the help of our App Developer Ustadz JSD/ Jalil Divino, the IMAN Phil App is now relaunched in Google Play and aims to connect all members across the country and abroad with a featured section on Rx Pad for ease of on-the-go prescription. It shall be a platform for our Clinic Services and member communications related to IMAN activities as well as Links to Apps and webpages sharing Islam in Medical Practice and iman-boosting posts in general. Typhoon Paeng Relief

Several families affected by the Typhoon Paeng were visited by the network in Zamboanga City and Maguindanao Areas. Lanao Del Sur Medical Society headed by IMAN President Dr Abdul Nasser Maca-alin were among early responders in calling for fund support. Co-Founder of IMAN, Dr Guiaria Camarudin, with Sema Family and several medical teams initiated outreach activities in DOS Maguindanao together with Bangsamoro Business Council Chair Atty Ronald Hallid Dimacisil Torres, Dir. Fatima Kanakan, UMMA Pres. Dr Zain Nuruddin and IMAN BOD Dr Abdul Javar Esturco & MD, Public Service Office and GABAY Head Solaiman Gayak with many others. Organizations worked together in delivering hundreds of food packs, kitchen utensils, essential medicines, gallons of water via boat and assessments with BARMM leaders. Otsuka-Solar, makers of Pocari Sweat, delivered over 7,000 beverages for distribution to affected zones, through IMAN Network and Bangsamoro Sports Commission which are still being distributed as of today and within the week in shaa Allah. We salute all other contributions of private individuals and government sectors, businesses who donated generously for the early recovery of the communities especially hard-to-reach seashore villages. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗮𝗽𝘀, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲: 𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗡 𝗣𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰al 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 With the strong urge of commitment to the community, the Islamic Medical Association of the Philippines, Inc - IMAN initiated a medical mission framed in the activity’s core title "𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙣" on August 07, 2022 at Academy Gym, Brgy. Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao. The said activity offered a free general check-up and circumcision. The initiative's goal is to provide high-quality medical care to society's unsheltered or underprivileged population, based on the foundational concept of access to quality medical care. The 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 (𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬, 𝗜𝗻𝗰.) was also present throughout the activity as they offered to aid the entire team for the activity's smooth and successful completion. Some of the GABAY, Inc. members were able to assist with the circumcision and others were able to help with distributing the lunch and medications. After the half-day medical mission, Dr. Amirel Usman accompanied the team for a tour at Iranun District Hospital located at Parang, Maguindanao. The said hospital was formally opened on March 2, 2022 after almost two decades of rest from public service.
