Successful 9th Founding Anniversary and 1st Islamic Medicine Lecture Series conducted

Nov 29 2015, UP Diliman - IMAN Philippines' 2015 Board of Directors and Members successfully held its 9th Founding Anniversary and 1st Islamic Medicine Lecture Series themed "Back to Basic: Islamic Awareness in Healthcare Delivery" at the School for Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. This year's theme was inspired by the need to revisit our iman and knowledge about Islamic rulings especially on sensitive topics encountered in everyday medical practice. Medical doctors and students all the way from Jolo, Cebu, and other parts of Mindanao attended the event. The program started with an opening prayer by Ustadz Mustofa Mardjuki, followed by a 2015 Report of the President Dr Al-Radjid Jamiri and an Inspirational Speech by UP Institute of Islamic Studies Dean Dr Julkipli Wadi.
